Audience Feedback

Once we had pitched our idea to our audience we received the following comments:

Group
Strengths
Weaknesses
1
·         Plot is really good, very clear
·         Everything is in detail- mise en scene, cinematography, target audience etc
-
2
·         Detailed research
·         Explained clearly
-
3
·         You actually included drawings of the poster making it visually come to life
·         Clear storyline & highlighted the conventions of a horror / supernatural film
·         Poster well explained
·         Audience well explained
-

We received very positive feedback on the pitch of our idea, with no groups pointing out any weaknesses with our idea or the way it was communicated. This gave our group the confidence to start filming because our idea was well received by our audience. However we did receive some questions on the following:

How will you show the girl on the TV and the evil shadows?
We have two options regarding how we will show the girl appearing on the TV, our first idea was to pre film the character and place that footage onto a laptop and connect the laptop to the TV. The second option was to film the character behind a green screen and in editing make it look as if the is a character appearing on the TV.

How will you represent someone getting run over? How are you going to film the girl getting hit by a car?
We also have two options regarding how this will be filmed. The first option is to film from alternating angles, shooting the car approaching the character and the characters realisation a car approaching her which could lead into a fade to black as the character is hit and then the audience see the character on the floor after the fade.  The second option is to use after effects and layer clips of a car passing by and the character running in the road to which would look like she had just been run over.
