Primary target audience:

Matt Williams, is a 19 year old white British male student who lives in West London. He has a socio economic grade of D (working class). He also has a part time job on the side for extra purchases as he has a strong passion for the world of film. Moreover, he enjoys going to social events alongside friends, partying, reading and takes regular trips to the cinema. He is intrigued with new releases of films and particularly has an interest with certain genres such as action, horror and supernatural. His favourite films are The Dark Knight, Mission Impossible, Paranormal Activity and The Conjuring. This is because he enjoys the thrill that the movies portray as it is filled with never ending adrenaline for the audience. Matt consumes the music he listens to by his IPod, Television and Laptop (Netflix). Although he listens to a variety of music genres he has his favourites such as R&B, House and alternative Rock. Matt prefers watching films but also Being a student means he does not spend much time watching Television. However when he does have spare time he watches sports, urban documentary’s and family guy. Fashion is a main priority within Matt’s life and so he shops for clothing at Top man, River Island and Nike town.

Alicia Goodman, is a 21 year old black British female who is a university student. She lives in South London with a socio economic grade of D (working class). She is at university full time and therefore has a work placement in where she can spend extra funds. In her spare time she enjoys partying, gym, cooking and signing. She also attends the cinema regularly with close friends. Alicia also consumes movies by her iPad and laptop. She watches a variety of film genres but the ones she has a passion for are Romance, Comedy and supernatural/horror. Her favourite films are the notebook, Think like a man and the Grudge. She states that she enjoys the mixed emotion she encounters by each of her favourite genres. Alicia also has a strong passion for music which explains why she enjoys to sing. She consumes music by her IPhone, IPod and laptop. Her favourite genres of music is slow jamz, Hip hop, Bashment and Pop. As Alicia is a full time university student she does not spend time watching television. Moreover when she does get to watch TV she watches Love & Hip Hop, Jeremy Kyle, The Only Way Is Essex and X Factor. Alicia’s fashion is an essential and so she loves to shop at Neu look, River Island, Primark and JD.
