Students are not allowed to take replica weapons e.g. fake guns/knives to or from the college. Replica weapons must be used in a controlled environment, i.e. on the college grounds under teacher supervision or in the privacy of your own home. Using replica weapons on campus without permission from your teachers will result in disciplinary action. You are not allowed to film using weapons in public under any circumstance.

Will you be using any props that could be perceived as weapon in your production?       YES          NO

If yes, please list below:

Some potential risks we may experience include the possibility of being injured due to broken glass of picture the frame, we intend to control this risk by clearing broken glass as soon as the scene is shot to avoid possible injury to actors and production team.

Another potential risk we may experience is being electrocuted from persistent switching of lights, we intend to solve this by using additional lighting to minimalize having to keep switching on and off lights as well as handling plug sockets and switches with dry hands to avoid being electrocuted.

An additional risk we may experience when filming on set with using a lighter is that it may cause an injury to actors and production team or someone may accidentally set flammable objects on fire. We intend to solve this by handling the lighter very carefully if injury is unavoidable there is a first aid box on set to which the actors and production team may use if anyone experiences injury. There are also two fire alarms situated in two different positions within the house that will alert the actors and production team if anything was on fire to which we will try to put out ourselves or call for assistance if the matter is something we cannot control. Another risk we may experience when travelling to and from our location with equipment is, being approached by thieves we intend to prevent this by concealing all items so that they are not visible to any members of the public to avoid attention being drawn to anyone of the production team.

Another risk we may experience when filming the hit and run scenes is the possibility of actually being run over when not paying attention to the roads. We will avoid this by making sure that all production members and actors are attentive of the roads and oncoming cars. Another concern when filming these scenes is the weather for example if we were to film in rain or heavy wind this could cause damage to equipment and affect the quality or our film. To avoid this from happening we will plan to film on days where the weather is not a problem and will not be able to affect the quality of our film. If by chance we have to film in bad weather conditions we plan to use umbrellas to protect equipment as well as make sure that the camera is firmly placed onto the tripod stand to avoid the wind making shots shaky or damage equipment.
